The original Star of India sapphire is one of the largest, virtually flawless gems in the world. Last week at the DP World India Championship, staged at Delhi Golf Club, we revealed our equally famous gem, Nico Leonard, to the world’s golfing and celebrity elite. He immediately fitted right in, adding sparkle and star quality to locker room chats, DP World’s Friday evening Diwali With The Stars celebration, all whilst donning some of the world’s most coveted time pieces. Few, if any in the world have Nico’s horological insight and no-one on the planet delivers it quite like he does. He even got to try on the winner’s prize Omega before the final putt dropped.

This wasn’t Nico gatecrashing the event though. He was there as a friend of DP World, a partnership brokered exclusively by Abbotswood. Nico already has a huge fan following with pro golfers, celebrities and the general public and his presence during tournament week added a fresh new dynamic to an already stellar event.
