Founding Partner, Mitchell Tweedie, has an insightful, personal approach to athlete management and development. It’s a unique, accessible way of thinking and working, grounded in over a decade’s experience representing many of the world’s leading golfers for some of the world’s largest sports management agencies. Abbotswood is his personal vision for more holistic, long-term player representation, resulting in deeper, meaningful partnerships with a smaller number of clients. Brands appreciate the consideration and contribution he brings. Emerging talent is energised and inspired as they start their journey. Leading professionals know they have a trusted business partner who works tirelessly for them off the course, allowing them to perform without distraction on it. Hyper-connected, energetic and worldly-wise, Mitchell’s impeccable track record and infectious enthusiasm make him someone the very best and fearlessly ambitious athletes seek out to further their career progression.
Ronan joined us after a stellar amateur golf career. Playing off scratch at 15 years old, he competed in boys’, youths’ and senior Irish interprovincial championships. He also holds a BA and Masters degree qualification in Business Development from Ulster University, where he was also a key member of their golf team during his four years of study. It was competing at high level amateur tournaments that Ronan first met and got to know Tom McKibbin, NI’s brightest prospect since Rory McIlroy. Tom’s decision in 2024 to forego a PGA Tour card in favour of a place on the LIV golf tour coincided with Ronan’s decision not to turn pro. Instead, he joined Abbotswood, who already looked after Tom, and alongside Mitchell, began managing him from mid-2025.
Based in the US, Henry’s approach to player management and recruitment is founded on his own experience playing elite college golf at Texas Tech and after turning pro, on PGA Tour Americas. Insightful and responsive, Henry also has a strong financial and legal background thanks to several years spent as an investment banker in London. He also has dual nationality – UK & USA – giving him a unique understanding of what it’s like for Europeans settling in the US, either at college or playing on tour. Henry looks after our US-based players - Ben Warian and Rayhan Thomas, as well as recruiting upcoming college stars and elite amateur talent.
Jack joined us at the start of 2026 as a Finance and Admin Associate after spending the past four and a half years as a Risk Analyst at global tech firm FinTrU. Prior to that, Jack graduated in Business Management from Queen’s University Belfast in 2019 and worked in sales and marketing for premium gym equipment brand BlkBox.
Until recently Jack was a member of Holywood Golf Club, so he has Abbotswood running through his veins, in fact he lives just a three quarter gap wedge away from the street we’re proudly named after. If playing off a 4 handicap wasn’t impressive enough, Jack also plays right back for local soccer team, Holywood FC.
