The word ‘elite’ is used in golf and many other sports to ringfence and define talent. Sometimes its use stretches the meaning to breaking point, but not this time. We are delighted and proud to announce that elite amateur golfer, Malan Potgieter has recently signed to Abbotswood. Later this month, 22 year-old Malan will tee it up at the Stella Artois Players Championship on the Sunshine Tour in his first tournament as a professional and his first as an Abbotswood athlete. If we sound excited, it’s because we are. Take a look at Malan’s amateur stats and you’ll understand why.
