We’re delighted to announce that former number one South African amateur Jonathan Broomhead has chosen Abbotswood to guide his fledgling career on the DP World Tour.

After a hugely successful debut season on the Sunshine Tour, the former South African Stroke Play champion and four-time victor on his native pro tour, Durban-born, 25-year-old Jono has made an early impact on the 2026 southern hemisphere leg of European golf’s flagship tour, with three top 40 finishes from just five starts.

Jono exemplifies the Abbotswood philosophy of nurturing prodigious early talent and we look forward to helping him on his journey and trail-blazing upward trajectory.
